The Make-Up Bag was an idea that owner, Kim Martin, had been working on for 6 years and which finally came to fruition in the summer of 2007. "My idea was to bring in cult beauty brands from around the globe and to continue to search for the latest and greatest niche lines available and bring them onboard. I am originally from Toronto and had traveled extensively before I moved to Moose Jaw with my husband in 1997. In my travels I would always find these wonderful little boutiques carrying the products that I had been reading about. So, I decided to open a beauty boutique in Moose Jaw so that all the women out there like me (beauty junkies) could have a cozy little boutique to enjoy and allow them the opportunity to purchase things that are currently not available to us in Saskatchewan."
